PROPER
SOAP.
MADE UP
NORTH.

A small soap company being built in Greater Manchester. First bars coming when they’re good enough.

An abstract cream bar above two offset red brick forms, drawn as a workshop study.

WE’RE STILL
IN THE WORKSHOP.

The first bars exist.
The final range doesn’t.

We’re testing recipes, fragrances, colours, moulds and packaging — working out what deserves to carry the Red Brick name.

We’d rather spend a little longer getting that right than fill a shop with products simply because we can.

  1. MIX.

    Recipes, ingredients and fragrances.

  2. TEST.

Made, used, adjusted. Then made again.

  3. RELEASE.

The good ones become Red Brick soaps.

ON THE
WORKBENCH.

Illustrative studies, not finished products. Nothing is for sale yet.

In development

RED BRICK No. 01

The one the company is named after.

A future signature bar inspired by the landscape, materials and character of Northern England. Something with a real connection to here.

Test batch

ORANGE + CINNAMON

An autumn idea. Still taking shape.

Early tests explored warm orange and spice, with burnt-orange movement through a cream bar. A little Bonfire Night thinking on the workbench.

Early test

VANILLA + STRAWBERRY

One of our first experiments.

Sweet, familiar and deliberately simple. Also useful for learning that fragrance can definitely be overdone.

SOAP DOESN’T
NEED A
MANIFESTO.

It needs to smell good,
feel good to use
and do its job.

That’s roughly where we’re starting. Good bars, sensible ingredients and enough experimentation to make them interesting.

MADE TO BE USED

These aren’t ornaments for a bathroom shelf.

SMALL BATCHES

Room to experiment, pay attention and make the next batch better.

NO NONSENSE

No miraculous properties. Just soap we’re happy to put our name on.

FROM RED
BRICK COUNTRY.

Red Brick Soap Company is being built in Greater Manchester — a landscape of brick, mills, workshops, waterways and things designed to earn their keep.

That idea sits behind the company: make something useful, make it well, and let the materials speak for themselves.

Launch updates coming soon

We’ll add a way to hear when the first batch is ready. No weekly lifestyle newsletter. No endless offers.

For now, come back and see how we’re getting on.

We’re working on it.
